College student's death: No-confidence petition filed against report clearing Bashundhara MD
The victim's elder sister, complainant of the case, submitted the petition with the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury.

After hearing the petition, the magistrate recorded her statements and is scheduled to pass an order on the issue after evaluating all the documents later in the day
During the hearing, the complainant said that Abul Hasan, officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, had told her he will submit the charge sheet against the accused under section 302 (murder) of the penal code and 9 (1) (rape) of Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
But the IO did not inform her before submitting the final report, she said.
On July 19, Abul Hasan submitted the probe report clearing Anvir from the charges.
