The young man's life was taken away by the tractor

 

Abdur Rab Sarkar (38) did not go abroad again.  He died due to the pressure of the tractor.The incident took place in Kuruin area of ​​Debidwer-Chandina road of the upazila on Monday night.The deceased was identified as Abdur Rab Sarkar eldest son of Abdul Quddus Sarkar of Jaipur village under Fatehabad union of the upazila.

According to the victim's family Abdur Rob went to Dhaka last Sunday to undergo a medical examination to go abroad. On the way home on Monday night after the medical examination, Chandina got off at the bus station and from there boarded a CNG to Devidwar.  After reaching Kuruin village of the upazila, a CNG-powered autorickshaw carrying him was hit by a speeding tractor coming from the opposite direction and he was seriously injured on the spot.  He was rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the on-duty doctor.  Rob was the father of two children.The eldest son Rehan Uddin (12) was a student of Hefz class of Darul Uloom Hafezia Madrasa in Jaipur and his daughter Mosa Tayeba (7) was a first class student of a local private school.

His wife Sharmin Akhter Lucky told me that Chandina got down and called me at 8:15 pm and said that I have left Chandina and it will not take long.  But he came home not just alive, but as a corpse. Today my children became orphans.

Md. Rehan Uddin Sarkar, son of the late, conducted the janaza held at Jaipur Chan Mia Super Market ground at 11 am today.

Speaking to Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debidwar Police Station Md Arifur Rahman and Mridul Kanti Kuri, in-charge of Mirpur Highway Police Station, they said, "We do not know of any casualties in the accident on Debidwar-Chandina road."
