Sheikh Parash: A fighter who does not give up

Some realities also rate the story. Juba League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash is the name of growing up in such a difficult life struggle in the history of Bangladesh. He lost his parents when he was very young. The way you lost is not just an accident. Bloody corpse of parents in front of eyes in childhood. What a horror! The body became sure to think. It is very difficult to accept that tragic event of August 15, 1975.

On 15 August 1975, Sheikh Moni along with his pregnant wife Sheikh Arju Moni and his family were brutally killed. On the night of 14 August, Bangabandhu's sister-in-law Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni's mother stayed at Bangabandhu's house till midnight. He talked to his brother and brother-in-law. He spent time alone with everyone, including innocent Russell. Did Sheikh Asiya Begum know that she would lose Bangabandhu, Bangamata, younger brother Sheikh Nasser, son, son's wife, nephews that night!  He lost everyone in just a few hours and turned to stone. Later, Sheikh Asiya Begum began to go a long way through her boundless suffering and terror.  Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and Sheikh Fazle Nur Taposh, two sons of Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni and Shaheed Arju Moni, witnessed the heartbreaking black night of 15th August.

Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, in his memoirs, mentions that heinous murder in history - ‘I was awakened by the sound of heavy vandalism very early in the morning. I got up and saw that my mother was not there.  Only two of us brothers in bed. Shots are being fired through the windows like storms. The bullets hit the walls and hit the floor. There was a lot of crying in the stairs, noise. We two brothers went to the stairs crying in fear and saw my parents lying on the ground in a bloody state.  Mother's legs resting on father's chest.  Grandma's sari is looting on the ground, and Grandma is blabbering on like crazy;  He is banging his forehead on the wall. '

As a child, two brothers, Sheikh Parash and Sheikh Tapas, witnessed such a dark history.  Mother and father's blood stained body!  Acceptable? Can't go  How did you handle that small question? What he understood then was that the caress of his parents, kissing his forehead with utmost care in the middle of his chest, would no longer be the fate of their two brothers. Surely he didn't realize it that day, because a five-year-old boy understands what it is!  From here, just like in Bengali cinema, Sheikh Parsh started a tough life battle with his younger brother. Movies are just stories.  But the reality!  It is very difficult.  In that context, it was difficult for the two brothers to survive.  Every day was a struggle. One day here and another day elsewhere. He could never return home!  In their childhood, when they used to go to the fair sometimes in the lap of their mother or sometimes holding the hand of their father, or sometimes they used to spend mischief with their friends, what a horrible life they have lived.  How much abandonment, how much sorrow, how much fear was hidden in that little mind!  Today, the question surely arises how they have gone through such a difficult time?

No matter how difficult the time, Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash has been able to build himself by cultivating the ideals of Bangabandhu and the far-sighted political consciousness of his father Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni.  Everyone knows that Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani was a man of many talents.  Sheikh Moni, who was only 35 years old, was one of the organizers of the great liberation war and one of the leading political leaders, journalists, poets and short story writers. On 11 November 1972, under the direction of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, father of Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, founded the Bangladesh Awami Juba League.  Moni's younger brother Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim has also led the Juba League as chairman for a long time.  Keeping in view the four main principles of the War of Independence and Liberation, the main task of the Juba League is to eradicate unemployment, poverty alleviation, poverty alleviation, expansion of education, institutionalization of democracy, non-communal Bangladesh and building a self-reliant economy.  As well as to establish the fair rights of the youth.

Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash has prepared himself over time by nurturing that consciousness of his father.  Lalon has maintained his political consciousness as well as his signature of success in the academic field.  He completed his secondary from Dhanmondi Government Boys' School, his higher secondary from Dhaka College and his English from Dhaka University. He later graduated from Colorado State University.  He returned to the country after receiving his PhD and was involved in teaching for a long time.  He is also involved in teaching at BRAC University.  Not only that, he is also very fond of playing cultured songs like his father.

Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, the worthy successor of a worthy father, has been able to make his debut in the Humanitarian Juba League after taking over as the Chairman of Bangladesh Awami Juba League.  The leadership of Juba League has been able to make an impact in the youth society in the hands of a hero who has prepared himself for the difficult life struggle.  His path for the masses is inspiring us to implement the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the visionary political consciousness of his father Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni.

"Politics cannot be a profession, we are volunteers," he said after taking office.  Our job is to serve the people, to protest wherever there is injustice.  Juba League will be the forerunner in the implementation of the plan of Hon'ble Prime Minister and state leader Sheikh Hasina. '

It is everyone's expectation that Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash will work for the masses as a child of a political family.  He who grew up in a difficult struggle is surely an uncompromising leader for the people.  He is determined to implement the main work of Juba League keeping in view the four basic principles of independence and liberation war.  The various programs of the Humanitarian Juba League are a reflection of his political foresight.  He has already been able to make his debut as a skilled organizer.  Surely the youth of Bengal are looking at you. I sincerely believe that your leadership will play an important role in moving the country and the nation forward.  Infinite respect and love on your happy birthday.
