Call to Juba League to build the country from above greed: Nanak

Former chairman of Juba League and presidium member of Awami League Jahangir Kabir Nanak has called upon the leaders and workers of Juba League to work for the betterment of the country. He hoped that the organization would be ready to resist the anti-independence clique. He made the call at a function organized on the occasion of the 49th founding anniversary of the organization at Krishibid Institution in the capital on Wednesday. The Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina addressed the function as the chief guest through video conference.

Purpose of Juba League leaders and workers Nanak said'Every leader and worker of Awami Juba League will stand by the Prime Minister's struggle to build the country as in the past and will play the role of vigilant guard against any conspiracy against the country, people and national interest. In his speech, the Awami League leader expressed hope that Juba League would be ready to resist the anti-independence clique.  He hoped that the Juba League under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would be ready at all times to defeat the anti-independence clique.

Nanak said,‘The role of youth is very important in the socio-economic development of 3rd world countries like Bangladesh. A nation and a state can fail if the youth are not given the right path. If the youth society is confused, not based on talent and thinking but attracted by drugs and terrorism, then the future of the state is bleak.Therefore, an organized ideological youth society inspired by patriotism is essential for the development and progress of the nation. An ideological organization that inspires and organizes the youth and prepares them to take charge of running the state. '

Mirza Azam former general secretary of Juba League and organizing secretary of Awami League, said, "If Juba League follows the path shown by Bangabandhu, those BNP-Jamaat clique will not be able to do any harm to the country and the nation."  Therefore, the leaders and workers of all levels of Juba League must be united.  The hand of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must be strengthened.  Then we will be able to build the golden Bangladesh of Bangabandhu's dream. '

The program was presided over by Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, Chairman of Juba League, and was presided over by Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, General Secretary of the organization.
