Fazlul Haque Moni's writing is pathetic for the youth: Sheikh Taposh

Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation said that the writings of Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni would be a path for the youth. He made the remarks while exchanging views with journalists after paying homage at the grave of Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni at Banani Cemetery here on Saturday morning.

Barrister Sheikh Taposh said, "Martyr Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni never hesitated to reveal the truth. In addition to his role in nation building through writing he also highlighted the activities of Mujibism. He has given advice and direction through his writings. All the instructions left by Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni on how to engage the youth in nation building will be available to the present generation. "

Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni has played a unique role in the freedom struggle of Bangladesh under the guidance and leadership of Father of the Nation since his student days. Sheikh Tapas said: Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni one of the organizers of the nucleus, will be given the responsibility of conducting the battlefield in the future. He has directly participated in the 6 point movement, liberation struggle. Mujib formed the army under the direction of the father of the nation and he served on the battlefield.

Mentioning that Fazlul Haque Moni published three magazines on post-independence nation building, the mayor said, “Dainik Bangla Bani, Dainik Bangladesh Times and weekly magazine Cinema were launched. He realized that writing plays a vital role in building a merit-based nation and that is why he became involved in journalism. He also established Bangladesh Awami Juba League under the direction of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu to organize the youth in nation building.

The mayor said, "Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni has spent almost 9 years in jail during his 35 years of life." He has also traveled from one end of Bangladesh to the other to organize the countrymen and the party. He was martyred with the father of the nation in 1975. Today I pay my respects to him and pray for the forgiveness of his soul.'

Among others, Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami Juba League, Former Successful President of FBCCI, Chairman of D-8 and Chairman of Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF), Farid Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, Joint General Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League  Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, Secretary of the Corporation Akramuzzaman, Acting Chief Health Officer.  Fazle Shamsul Kabir, Divisional Heads and Regional Executive Officers of various departments and senior officers of Dhadsik were present.
