Sheikh Fahim paid a humble tribute on the birthday of Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni

Today is the birthday of Sheikh Fazlul Haque Monione of the organizers of the war of liberation the commander of Mujib Bahini and the founding chairman of Juba League. In a message on the occasion of Sheikh Moni's birthday Sheikh Fazle Fahim presidium member of Bangladesh Awami Juba League former successful president of FBCCI, chairman of D-8 and chairman of Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF) paid his respects.

Sheikh Fazle Fahim said that Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni established Juba League with the aim of making the youth aware of political education in the post-independence period. And that Juba League is now being led by its worthy successor Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash. Juba League's founding chairman Shahid Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni's foresight and aspirations must be used by the youth, then it will be worthwhile to remember him.

Incidentally, he was born on 4 December 1939 in Tungipara to the Sheikh family. His father the late Sheikh Nurul Haque was a close relative and brother-in-law of Bangabandhu. Mother Sheikh Asiya Begum is Bangabandhu's elder sister. On the night of 15 August 1975 Sheikh Moni was killed along with Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other members of his family.

Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni obtained his BA degree from Barisal BM College in 1960 after passing his secondary from Dhaka Nabakumar Institute and his higher secondary from Jagannath College.
