This time CIP including Sheikh Fazle Fahim is 176 businessmen

The government has selected 176 businessmen as the most important Commercial Person of 2018 (CIP-Export) for their significant contribution in the country's export trade. The list of 38 selected CIP traders was gazetted last Wednesday (December 8).  Earlier an order in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Commerce.

Out of the total 38 people in the trade 10 are FBCCI directors including Sheikh Fazle Fahim presidium member of Bangladesh Awami Juba League, former successful president of FBCCI, chairman of D-8 and chairman of Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF) from category 'A' chamber group. Mrs. Hasina Newaz, Md.  Nizam Uddin, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Md.  Anwar Sadat Sarkar, Md.  Rezaul Karim Rejnu, Gazi Golam Ashria, Tarabakul Tosaddek Hossain Khan Titu, Md. Kohinoor Islam, Md.  Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan.

A total of 138 CIPs including Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pran-RFL Group have been selected in various sectors in the product export category.

Exported products include Raw Jute, Jute Products, Leather Products, Frozen Foods, Oven Garments, Agricultural Products, Agroprocessing, Light Engineering Products, Handicraft Products, Pharmaceutical, Computer Software, Knitwear, Plastics, Knitwear and Plastics  Miscellaneous.

Elected CIPs will enjoy various benefits for up to one year. During the validity of the CIP card, you will get a vehicle sticker to enter the Bangladesh Secretariat.

In addition, citizens will be invited to various national events and municipal receptions.  CIP cardholders will have priority in reserving seats in government vehicles by air, rail, road and water for business trips. The CIP will issue a 'Letter of Introduction' to the concerned embassy for obtaining a visa from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for foreign travel for business purposes.

CIPs will have access to VIP Lounge-2 at the airport. The order also said that CIPs would be given priority in providing cabin facilities at government hospitals for the treatment of their wives, sons, daughters and themselves.
